Measuring principal: White light Interferometry KORAD3D is a compact measuring unit which works on the principal of white light Interferometry. Simply said the length of the reflected or scattered light on the object is compared with the calibrated reference length. The unit moves in z direction during the measurement and scans so the surface. The result is a 3D image of the measured object with a very high precision. This technology combines the benefits of known tactile sensors with the benefits of optical sensors: high precision and contact less measuring with a high data rate! |
